Look out! There’s a Parade coming!

Hi All,

Well it is suppose to be in the 40s on Sunday and kinda sunny.  Its also the day that the clocks go ahead 1 hour, but most importantly, its the day that 250,000 people gather on Western Ave on the South Side of Chicago to view and participate in one the of the largest parades in the country.  Have you ever said, “Gee, I wish I could ride on one of those fancy floats?”  Well, now you can. The IAA float number for this years parade is 63.  Why be just an observer on the sidelines when you can actually ride on a float?

Join us with our very own St Patrick, Uncle Sam, The Murphy-Roche musicians, and one of our best attractions, The Great Lake Irish Wolfhounds along with our other cast of lively folks on Sunday, March 11 th.  The staging area is on the West side of Western Ave at about 101st (10050 Western Ave). Don’t worry if you don’t see us right away, just look for St Patrick or the dogs. If you have decorations or would like to help decorate the float, meet us around 11:30 at the float. Wear your liveliest green and lets have a blast on Sunday (that’s this Sunday) at the South Side Irish Parade.  See you there !! And spread the news.
